Village Services Garbage/Recyclable Collection: Garbage and recyclables must be placed at the curb by 8:00 a.m.each Thursday.(Except for the following Holiday changes.) Garbage should be in clear plastic bags. Recyclables (metal cans, glass, all plastics, newspaper and magazines) can be mixed in reusable containers that are left at the curb. (ex. trash containers, laundry baskets, etc.) NO plastic bags. Thick corrugated cardboard must be torn down to manageable sizes. Limit 7 bags per household. Please contact the Village office for the latest recycling information. HOLIDAY PICK UP DATE CHANGES FOR 2013: The week of Memorial Day pick up will be Fri.,May 31st The week of July 4th will be Friday, July 5th The week of Labor Day will be Friday, September 6th The week of Thanksgiving Day will be Fri.,Nov.29th The week of Christmas Day will be Fri.,Dec.27th. WATER/SEWER RATES - Billed Quarterly. Water Rates: Effective June 1, 2013 $ 2.75/thous. gallons used for Inside users. $ 16.50 minimum per quarter. $ 4.13/thous.gallons used - Outside users in a District. $24.78 minimum per quarter. $ 6.88/thous. gallons used - all other Outside users. $41.28 minimum per quarter. Sewer Rates: $ 11.00 per month unit charge, plus $ 1.25 per thous. gallons water used. $ 1.88 for outside users. Lawn Debris/Leaf Collection Pick up on the 2nd and 4th Mondays of each month. Please bag if possible or rake to the curb. DO NOT rake leaves into the street as they clog storm drains.
