A Special meeting of the Village Board was held on Wednesday, October 7, 2009 in the Village Hall, 8892 South Street at 4:15 p.m.
Present were: Mayor Jean Saroodis
Trustees: Ray Swim and Harry Hinman
Absent: Trustees Chere Perkins and Chris Lukins
Also Present: Jim Saroodis, Superintendent; Diane Scheufele, Treasurer; Susan Lamphere, Village Clerk; Kathleen Barran, Citizen Reporter
New York State Environmental Facilities Corporation is offering additional Green Project Reserve monies for the Village Waste Water Treatment Project pending Environment Protection Agency approval. The exact amount is unknown at this time but is estimated to be at least an additional $200,000.00. A Bond Resolution will be required when the Village is awarded and the exact amount will be known at that time.
Trustee Hinman made the motion, seconded by Trustee Swim to pursue the additional green components funding, all present voted aye.
Treasurer Scheufele submitted a bill from M.A. Bonoiovanni in the amount of $362,559.96. Trustee Swim made the motion, second by Trustee Hinman to submit a funding request to EFC for reimbursement, all present voted aye.
Trustee Hinman made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 4:20 p.m. Trustee Swim seconded this motion, all ayes.
